Sort Lines — frequently asked questions
How does numeric sorting work?
Lines are compared by the number they contain, so 2 comes before 10, unlike plain alphabetical sorting.
Can I shuffle lines?
Yes. The shuffle mode randomises the order each time you click.
Does sorting change my text?
Only the order of lines changes, plus any optional trimming you enable.
